LMB Painting Services is hiring an Estimator to meet with homeowners and commercial clients, walk their properties, and turn each visit into a clear, accurate estimate. You’ll be the face of LMB on the first visit — building trust, explaining the process, and setting every job up for a smooth production handoff.
Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective customers on-site to scope interior and exterior painting projects
- Measure surfaces, document conditions with photos, and identify required prep and repairs
- Recommend appropriate paint products, sheens, and color consultation options
- Prepare detailed, accurate written estimates and review them with the customer
- Follow up on open estimates and maintain an active pipeline through close
- Hand off booked jobs cleanly to the production team with notes, photos, and scope details
Requirements
- Prior painting, construction, or home-services sales experience strongly preferred
- Solid working knowledge of paint products, prep, and typical interior/exterior systems
- Comfortable measuring rooms and exteriors and reading basic plans
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly in someone’s home
- Self-motivated with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using a CRM and estimating software on a tablet or laptop
